Blue Shampoo Bios

Steven Berger
photo of Steven BergerGrowing up on the tough streets of Northbrook, Illinois, Steven learned it was kill or be killed, so he has been killing them with laughter ever since. Steve considers himself to be the inspirational leader of Blue Shampoo; we are still not sure if that belief is accurate yet. When not performing Steve will likely be found at the United Center watching the Bulls, or at his second home Wrigley Field. To relax Steve will watch the Bravo network or read about his favorite animal, the manatee.

Anna Brzozowski
photo of Anna BrzozowskiAnna returned to her native Chicago after living in Scottsdale, AZ for about 11 years. There she became a Firebird at Chaparral High and then became a Sun Devil at Arizona State University. She graduated with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in business. Upon her return to the Windy City, Anna was determined to pursue her desire for acting/improvising, while working as an Office Manager for a dental practice downtown. She began her dream at The Second City in 2006, where she is currently enrolled in the Conservatory Program. She is one of newest members of Blue Shampoo and is glad to join such a dynamic group. "Seems like they wanted a woman's touch."

Andrew Cornelius
photo of Andrew CorneliusAndrew Cornelius is thrilled to be improvising with Blue Shampoo. A former open mic stand-up comedian, Andrew has seen the error of his ways and has been a dedicated improviser for the past two years training at iO and Second City’s Conservatory. These days you can see him performing with both Blue Shampoo and Stripper’s Picnic, as well as hustling his "the office" spec script. Andrew spends his days living out his dream as “a man of leisure.”

Linsey Falls
photo of Linsey FallsLinsey Falls is more of a force of nature than a mortal man. After graduating high school (having sang and acted all through it) Linsey went to college in Atlanta Ga. He discovered improv and studied for two years before being put on cast at his theatre. He was promptly sent overseas to start and run a company for his employer. After a year and a half in Manila, Linsey quit his job and relocated to Chicago to pursue his dream of putting comedy on stage. Linsey is proud to be a member of Blue Shampoo and owns potato carvings of the rest of the cast.

Mike Maddaloni
photo of Mike MaddaloniMike Maddaloni is a founding member of Blue Shampoo, and completed the Second City Training Center’s beginning improv program with the troupe. Mike manages the Web site blueshampoo.com, a direct tie to his field of Internet consulting, and is the founder and president of Dunkirk Systems, based in Chicago. His is also the Interactive Media Director for DJ Mix Academy, a global DJ school, and is part of mobile DJ service Dancejam Entertainment, both based in Boston. A DJ since his days in college radio (which is why he still has records), Mike’s voice can be heard as both voiceover talent and commentator on numerous podcasts, and he muses on business and technology in written form on his blog, The Hot Iron. Go Patriots!

John Pantlind
photo of John PantlindJohn Pantlind was born and raised in East Grand Rapids, MI and attended Indiana University. John is an inventor. His most ingenious and only recognizable invention was the name, "Blue Shampoo," which he supplied from the depths of his enormous brain to this improv troupe to use in print and in casual conversation. Speaking of enormous, John is the tallest member of Blue Shampoo. He began studying improv with the Chicago Comedy Company in 2002, and is currently studying at the iO Theater and is attending the conservatory at Second City. Although he looks it, John is not gay. He has a twin brother lamely named Tom.

Trish Vignola
photo of Trish VignolaTrish Vignola is a recent transplant to Chicago. A born and raised "New Yawker," she was a student at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, having studied with Billy Merrit and Rob Riggle. She was also seen with the sketch team, Delusions of Spandex, monthly at the Parkside Lounge. Trish is currently working on the Sunday Mass Destruction project at Second City and is excited to be one of the newest members of Blue Shampoo. No, she is not a Yankees fan so don't ask her if she thinks Derek Jeter is cute. Trish holds a B.A. in Theatre from Fordham University and a M.A. in American History, which she will never use.

Kim Wilson
photo of Kim WilsonKim Wilson is the founder of Banging Lonely Squirrels on Campus at Augustana College where she received her B.A. in music. After realizing she had neither plans nor prospects, she moved to Chicago in August 2004. While in Chicago, Kim has worked for card shops and non profits, and is currently making a living as a corporate whore. She began her improv studies in January 2006 and has since given up all childhood dreams of becoming a Barbie.
